The present revisional application has been directed with a prayer for a direction upon the Investigating Officer for production of original seizure list before the trial court, as the Investigating Officer failed and neglected to produce original seizure list before the trial court and for which the trial of the case got delayed and furthermore, the petitioner has also prayed for a direction upon the trial court to proceed with the trial as expeditiously as possible and to take it to its logical conclusion in accordance with law without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

Learned advocate for the State submits that the misplaced seizure list is now available for production before Trial Court and certified copy of the seizure list has been annexed with the status

report filed today and as such there is no impediment to proceed with the trial by the court concerned.

In view of the above, the instant revisional application being CRR 2725 of 2018 is disposed of with a direction upon the trial court to proceed with the trial as expeditiously as possible and take it to its logical conclusion in accordance with law without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties preferably within a period of six months.

With the aforesaid direction, CRR 2725 of 2018 is accordingly disposed of.

Appointment of the learned advocate for the State may be regularised by the concerned authorities.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, duly applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
