The petitioners are aggrieved by a notice under Section 160 of the Cr.P.C. issued by the D.C.B. C.I.D. Mumbai in respect of CR. No.-93/22 under Section 381 of the IPC.

The petitioners admittedly reside in North 24Parganas and are not within the jurisdiction of the D.C.B. C.I.D. Mumbai.

The notice under Section 160 of the Cr.P.C. is, therefore, ex facie without jurisdiction. The said notice is hereby quashed.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
