The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher at Paikpara Ramkrishna Free Primary School, a school under the D.P.S.C., South 24 Parganas, the respondent no.5 herein.

The petitioner is praying for a general transfer on the ground of distance and is a surplus teacher of his school.

The representation of the petitioner to that effect, dated 21.07.2025, is pending consideration before the Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education, the respondent no.4 herein. The said representation forms part of the writ petition, being Annexure 'P-5'.

The respondent no.4 is directed to consider and dispose of the said representation in accordance with law within 12 weeks from the date of communication of this order of this Court to respondent no.4.

The Writ petition being WPA 19249 of 2025 is accordingly disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied.
