Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was arrested on 09.11.2024 in connection with the instant case and he has been falsely implicated subsequently, as initially his name did not transpire in the FIR. Learned advocate submits that the petitioner, on any stringent conditions, may be released on bail. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and produces the case diary including the statements of the witnesses. I have assessed the materials appearing in the case diary and I find that charge-sheet having been submitted, charges are about to be framed or has been framed before the learned Trial Court. Considering the same, I direct that

within a period of six months, at least all the vulnerable witnesses are to be examined by the prosecution. It is further directed that no unnecessary adjournment be granted to any of the parties and trial of the case would continue in spite of any resolution of the local Bar. In view of the directions passed above, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

Registrar General, High Court, Calcutta is directed to communicate this order to the learned Trial Court for taking necessary action.

The application for bail, being CRM (M) 1431 of 2025, is, thus, disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
