The affidavit of service filed by the petitioners shall be kept on record.

Petitioner no.1, respondent nos. 10 and 11 are co-sharers of a property located at L.R. Dag No. 829, R.S. Dag No. 726, Khatian No. 199, Ward No. 11, under Pujali Municipality, 24 Parganas (South). The petitioners allege that unauthorised construction has been raised at the premises under the direction of respondents Nos. 10 and 11. Furthermore, the petitioners contend that despite their representations, the Municipality has failed to take any remedial action.

In light of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to Pujali Municipality to appoint a competent officer to conduct a site inspection. If any unauthorized construction is identified, the Municipality shall take appropriate action in accordance with the law, after providing due

notice to respondents nos.10 and 11. This exercise must be completed within two months from the date of this order.

Accordingly, WPA 19738 of 2024 is disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on compliance of usual legal formalities.
