It appears from the statement forwarded by the Balitikuri Co-operative Bank Ltd. signed by the Chief Executive on September 9, 2023 that a sum of Rs. 10,08,759/- is due and payable by the petitioner. The bank has permitted the petitioner to repay the amount within September 30, 2023.

The petitioner is directed to make the necessary payment within the prescribed date.

In the event, the petitioner fails to deposit the sum demanded, then it will be open for the bank to take necessary steps in accordance with law.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
