Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today, is taken on record.

The Sub-Divisional Officer, Egra Sub-Division shall treat the writ petition as a representation of the petitioner and take a decision as to whether permission to conduct the 'Durga Puja' can be given to the petitioner or not.

It is contended by the petitioner that this was the first time that a puja in a large scale is going to be conducted and, thus, the club is unable to apply online. They do not have any previous permission.

Under such circumstances, the petitioner will meet the authority with a copy of the writ petition and a server copy of this order within a week from date and pray for necessary assistance in this regard.

If the authority decides to grant permission and the petitioner fulfils the criteria, such permission shall be granted expeditiously. If the petitioner is found to be ineligible for such permission, in that event a reasoned

order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. 7.

There shall be no order as to costs.

8.

Parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
