The instant revisional application under Sections 528/529 of BNSS has been filed seeking a direction for expeditious disposal of NGR Case No. 35 of 2024 corresponding to TR No. 71 of 2025 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 6th Court, Krishnagar, Nadia.

It is submitted by learned Advocate for the petitioner and the other co-accused person are in service. Pendency of the present proceeding against them is hampering their services. He also submits that the petitioners and the other accused have already appeared in the said case and have been granted bail by the learned Trial Court. The case is now fixed for recording the plea of the accused persons.

Having heard learned Advocate for the petitioners and upon going through the materials on record, it appears that the petitioner appeared in the NGR Case No. 35 of 2024 on January 24, 2024. The petitioner no. 2 also entered appearance in the said case on June 5, 2024 and was granted bail. The matter was fixed for appearance on August 12, 2024 and November 1, 2024. On November 1, 2024 none of the accused persons appeared in the case and the case was fixed on January 21,

2025 for appearance when the accused persons were represented by a petition. The case was adjourned to May 2, 2025 for appearance. On such date, both the accused persons appeared and the case was fixed on April 3, 2026 for recording plea of the accused persons.

Under such circumstances, it would be appropriate to dispose of the instant revisional application being CRR 3632 of 2025 with a request to the learned Judicial Magistrate, 6th Court, Krishnagar Nadia to dispose of the case being NGR Case No. 35 of 2024 as early as possible without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.

With the aforesaid directions, CRR No. 3632 of 2025 is, thus, disposed of.

Parties shall act on the basis of server copy of this order duly downloaded from the website of this Hon'ble Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible. ( Md. Shabbar Rashidi, J. )
