Masud ... for the State-Respondent(s) The petitioner has approached this Court as she - being an advocate, accompanied her client to the police station where she was misbehaved. To that effect, the petitioner relies upon an Affidavit of the person/client who accompanied her.

The subject-matter of the grievance is for taking disciplinary action against the concerned police officer.

Learned advocate for the State submits that the accusations which have been made against the police officer are wild allegations, as, subsequently, an

application under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C.

was filed before the jurisdictional Court and after completion of the investigation of the case so registered, charge-sheet was submitted.

Having regard to the time frame which has passed in the meantime, I am of the view that the petitioner would be at liberty to take out a specific complaint before the learned Magistrate in respect of the accusations with the materials which are in her possession.

The learned Magistrate would assess as also ascertain regarding the genuinity of the allegations, thereafter, proceed in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 19850 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
