His appearance may be regularized by the concerned authority. Records of the revisional application reflect that the case was instituted in the year 2014 being Jalangi Police Station Case No. 1183 of 2014 dated 23.12.2014 under sections 341, 326 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner approaches this Court with a prayer for quashing of the FIR and the consequent proceeding. More than nine years have passed since the initiation of the investigation. Having regard to the time period which is lapsed in the meantime, I am of the view that the interference at this belated stage is unwarranted.

However, liberty is given to the petitioner to urge all points before the learned Trial Court in course of the trial. The learned Trial Court is also directed to expedite the process of the trial by fixing a schedule with regular interval. With the above observations, CRR 3199 of 2022 is disposed of.
