Report filed on behalf of the State is taken on record. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the matter involves a dispute between the father and the son. After filing of the writ petition, the respondent son had brought back the petitioner's father to the residence, which belongs to the petitioner. Therefore, the prime grievance of the petitioner that he was ousted from his own house has been resolved.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent nos.5 and 6 denies the allegations and submits that the dispute between the private parties have already been settled. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the report and submits that upon an FIR lodged by the petitioner, a charge sheet has already been submitted being Junput Coastal PS Case No.79 dated 13.08.2023 under Sections 341, 323, 307 and 34 of the Penal Code and 24 of

the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 against the alleged accused.

As the prime grievance of the petitioner has already been redressed and he has been restored back the possession of his property, no further order need be passed in this regard.

However, the police authorities shall keep a sharp vigil at the locale and ensure that no breach of peace take place. With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order may be supplied to the parties expeditiously, if applied for. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
