The subject-matter of the present application relates to expeditious disposal of Criminal Appeal No.273 of 2018, which is pending before the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, 6th Court, Alipore.

Mr. Bhattacharya, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner/husband submits that the next date has been fixed on 19th February, 2022 and seeks for disposal of the same. Mr. Chatterjee, learned advocate appearing for the opposite party/wife submits that any direction passed by this Court may prejudice the execution proceedings.

In view of the next date fixed before the appellate court on 19th February, 2022, I direct that the learned appellate court will dispose of the appeal on the next date so fixed or alternatively

continue the hearing on each and every date till the hearing is concluded preferably by 19th March, 2022.

This order will not preclude the opposite party/wife to seek her remedies before the available forum. With the aforesaid observations, CRR 2541 of 2021 is disposed of.
