The petitioner says that he has been falsely implicated. He has no connection with the alleged offence. He is languishing in judicial custody for more than 150 days. Investigation is complete and charge sheet has been submitted. There is no need to detain him in custody any further.

attention to the statement of the victim girl recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. She vividly narrates the alleged incident, which is, to say the least, heinous. The medical report also supports the prosecution case. 3.

In view of the prima facie incriminating material against the petitioner, we are not inclined to allow his prayer for bail.

The prayer for bail is, accordingly, rejected. 5.

CRM (DB) 2550 of 2024 is dismissed.
