The petitioners seek similar relief as granted by the Court on 25th April, 2024 in a series of writ petitions first of which is WPA 20966 of 2022 with CAN 1 of 2024 (Kakali Mondal vs. The State of West Bengal Ors.).

Attention of the Court has been drawn to the appeal being M.A.T. 1180 of 2024 with CAN 1 of 2024 preferred from the order mentioned hereinabove. As the appeal appears to be pending, accordingly, let the instant writ petition be de-listed for the time being with liberty to mention after disposal of the appeal.
