We have considered the materials on record. Petitioners are the parents-in-law of one Pratima Karmakar. There was a matrimonial dispute between Pratima and her husband Ananda. As a result Pratima took refuge at her parental residence. Ananda went there to bring back Pratima. At that time he misbehaved with Pratima's brother who subsequently committed suicide. Said Ananda is in custody. Keeping in mind the extent of complicity of the petitioners in the crime, we are of the opinion custodial interrogation of the petitioners for progress of investigation is not necessary and they may be granted anticipatory bail. 3.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioners shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 10,000/- each with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also be subject to the

conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.

Petitioners shall appear before the court below and pray for regular bail within four weeks from date.
