After hearing learned counsel appearing for the parties, the writ petition may be disposed of in accordance with the submission of counsel appearing for the State respondents that the application of the petitioner will be considered in the next Board Meeting of the Regional Transport Authority, Howrah and that the petitioner's application shall also be considered together with other similar applications in the said Board Meeting. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the application of the petitioner for Contract Carriage Permit for Auto-rickshaw should be considered in the existing vacancies for the concerned route. It is made clear that the concerned respondent shall hold the Board Meeting within a week from date.

WPA 20401 of 2021 is accordingly disposed of in terms of the above.
