Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that 17 persons applied for anticipatory bail and that such prayer was allowed. Out of 17 persons, 13 persons complied with the order and obtained regular bail from the jurisdictional Court. Four did not do so on the advice of the learned Advocate of the trial Court that once anticipatory bail is granted by the High Court they need not take further bail from the jurisdictional Court.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention to the contents of the order dated September 17, 2019.

The order dated September 17, 2019 contains an error on the face of the record. Rita Ray was not an applicant in the application for anticipatory bail which was disposed of by the order dated September 17, 2019. The order states that anticipatory bail was granted to the petitioners. The petitioners are 17 persons. Rita Ray is not one of them.

Moreover, 13 of the petitioners complied with the order and obtained regular bail from the jurisdictional Court. Four of the petitioners who did not comply with the order are Sk. Jafai, Sk. Bahetar, Sk. Nur Islam and Sk. Lalon.

For the ends of justice, time to comply with the order dated September 17, 2019 by such persons is extended for a period of seven days from date.

CRAN 1 of 2022 is disposed of.
