The writ petitioner complains that the private respondent is harassing her in connection with some money, which is due and payable by the private respondent to the petitioner.

The writ petitioner has filed a complaint with the Singur Police Station that was registered as FIR No. 296 of 2021 dated 1st October, 2021. After completing the investigation, charge sheet has been filed under Sections 420/406/354/504/506 of the IPC.

The Charge Sheet has been filed. Hence, the petitioner may approach the concerned magistrate for addition or deletion of charges, in accordance with law. It is ordered that the charges are put to committal as expeditiously as possible and the trial commences expeditiously.

In the event, the petitioner applies for protection, she may be afforded the same by the State for a period of 72 hours from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
