Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that her account has been frozen since the year 2024 and she is unable to operate the account which is causing inconveniences. Petitioner is a resident of Maharashtra and she has been only informed in respect of a GD Entry for which the account has been frozen.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that Topsia Police Station case no. 28/2024 has been registered for investigation on 14.03.2024. There are accusations which were relating to fraudulent transactions uploaded on the National Cyber Crime reporting portal, consequently, the investigation was entrusted to Topsia Police Station.

In view of the contention and grievance of the petitioner being in respect of Account no.

50100106451732 of the HDFC Bank and Account no.

644601501776 of ICICI Bank being involved, petitioner would approach the jurisdictional Court in seisin of Topsia PS case no. 28/24 for necessary reliefs, as once an investigation has commenced the custody of all the materials are responsibility of the Court and the police authorities are merely holding the same by way of a trustee pursuant to the orders passed by the Court. In case such an application is filed by the petitioner, learned Magistrate in seisin of the case would put in efforts so that the same is disposed of within a period of 30 days from the date of filing.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 18994 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
