In re : CAN 2 of 2025 CAN 2 of 2025 is moved by the learned counsel for the applicant/petitioner praying for leave to deposit the purported amounts in terms of the orders dated 5th August, 2016, that is Rs.50,50,194/- under section 14B and Rs.26,17,026/- under Section 7Q, both for the period from 09/10 to 01/2013, with the respondent authorities without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the applicant/petitioner in the pending writ petition.

On hearing the parties and on perusal of the materials on record, it appears that the petitioner had challenged the order dated 5th August, 2016 passed by the respondent no. 1 under Section 14B

and 7Q of the EPF Act. The said amount is now sought to be paid by the petitioner herein.

Leave as prayed for is granted.

CAN 2 of 2025 is disposed of.

Accordingly, the writ application is disposed of as 'infructuous'.

Connected application, if any, stands disposed of.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
