Petitioners renew their prayer for bail. He submits that the mother of the victim has been examined.

Learned lawyer appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the petitioners had sexually violated a two year old child.

We have considered the materials on record. We have also examined the evidence of the mother of the child. In view of the gravity of the offence and the evidence on record, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners at this stage. The prayer for bail is rejected.

We request the trial court to conclude the trial at an early date preferably within six months from the next date of recording evidence without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
