1. Affidavit of service and report so submitted be kept with the record.

2. Report reflects that the police authorities on receipt of the complaint started case being, Jangipara Police Station Case No.405 of 2024 dated 6th August, 2024, which is pending before the Jurisdictional Court at Serampore.

3. Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that although he is in possession of the flat, the private respondent is trying to dispossess him from his possession.

4. Be that as it may, this Court will not enter into the issues relating to possession, right, title and interest. The same is the domain of the civil Court.

5. The petitioner is presently aggrieved by the fact that he is being threatened.

6. In case, he is being threatened and he is a witness in the case, under the Witness Protection Scheme, petitioner would apply before the learned Magistrate under the relevant sections of law.

7. Learned Magistrate, if he deems fit and proper, would pass appropriate directions upon the police authorities to take steps for protecting the witnesses. So far as the law and order issue is concerned, the concerned police station would keep a strict vigil and ensure that there is no breach of peace and tranquility in the locality in respect of the subject property in dispute.

8. With the aforesaid observations, W.P.A. 19954 of 2024 stands disposed of.
