In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that allowing the case to continue shall be a futile exercise.

Accordingly, CRR 3337 2024 and CRAN 1 of 2024 are allowed.

G.R. case no. 5954 of 2023 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Baruipur, South 24 Parganas be quashed.

The petitioners be set at liberty at once and discharged from their bail bonds.
