Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this revisional application upon Ms. Baisali Basu, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears for the State. Her appointment may be regularised by the concerned authorities.

Records of the case reflect that seven witnesses have already been examined. However, as submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner that the parties have compromised and they are living together.

In such circumstances, the complainant/victim/lady would be at liberty to file an application through the learned public prosecutor. The learned public prosecutor or an independent lawyer, who would assist the learned public prosecutor, will file such application.

The learned court, in seisin of the matter, would hear out both the parties, if required, for larger interest of justice, conduct an enquiry regarding the truth attached therewith and thereafter dispose of the application in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 2995 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
