The learned advocate appearing for the State files a report of the Inspector-in-charge, Madhyamgram Police Station dated 27th August, 2024.

Heard learned advocate for the private respondent.

After going through the said report this Court finds that pursuant to the written complaint of the petitioner, Madhyamgram PS Case No. 42 of 2024 dated 22.01.2024 has been registered and the

investigation is proceeding. Since the FIR has been registered and the investigation is in progress this writ petition is disposed of by directing the investigating officer to complete the investigation at the earliest. In the event the petitioner is not satisfied with the progress of the investigation he will be at liberty to approach the concerned Magistrate in accordance with law.
