The petitioners' representation before the Block Development Officer for grant of benefit under the Destitute Minority Women Rehabilitation Programme dated December 21, 2021 (Annexure P1, p.10) is pending consideration.

Without going into the merits of the claim of the petitioners, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Additional District Magistrate (Minority, South 24 Parganas), the respondent no.5 herein, to take into consideration the prayer of the petitioners in accordance with the subject Scheme provided the same is in vogue till date after causing an enquiry with prior notice through the concerned Block Development Officer.

4. If the petitioners are found eligible in terms of the Scheme, then necessary consequential relief shall be provided to them.

5. Steps shall be taken by the aforesaid respondent at the earliest but positively within a period of

twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

6. All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

7. Certified copy of the order if applied for, shall be made available to the parties.
