Liberty is granted to the petitioner to correct the address of the 2nd respondent in the cause title of the writ petition.

The grievance of the petitioner is that her husband, since deceased, was an employee under the 3rd respondent for more than 38 years and superannuated on 16th January, 2015. No gratuity was paid to him in lieu of his service. The application in Form 'N' filed by the petitioner before the 2nd respondent which was registered as Case no. G138/16 is still pending. The petitioner prays for a direction upon the authority to consider the said application at the earliest.

Having considered the submissions made on behalf of the parties and material on record, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of the application filed by the

petitioner in Form 'N' within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the interested parties including the petitioner, in accordance with law.

WPA 20460 of 2021 is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted.
