It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he was an employee under the 3rd respondent and superannuated on January 1st, 2017. No gratuity has been paid to him till date. The petitioner filed an application in Form 'N' before the 2nd respondent on 16th August, 2018 which was registered as Case no. 80/18/G/HOW, but the same is yet to be disposed of. The petitioner prays for a direction upon the authority to consider and dispose of the said application at the earliest.

Having considered the submissions made on behalf of the parties and material on record, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of the application filed by the petitioner dated 16th August, 2018 within a period of three months from the date of communication of this

order after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the interested parties including the petitioner, in accordance with law.

WPA 20469 of 2021 is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted.
