1. Parties are represented through their respective learned counsels.

2. A preliminary objection is raised by respondent nos. 5 & 6 by contending that petitioners are not situated in State of West Bengal and have no interest and locus in this matter.

3. For similar reason, WPA(P) 359 of 2025 (Pardarshita & Anr. vs. Union of India & Ors.) was dismissed by this Court on 12.09.2025.

Faced with this, learned counsel for petitioners submits that true, it is, that petitioners are not located in State of West Bengal but under the relevant High Court Rules, the question of locus is not a relevant aspect.

4. In view of the point already decided by this Court in the case of Pardarshita & Anr.(supra), we find no reason to take a different view, more so

when it is not in dispute that petitioners herein are not located in West Bengal and necessary pleading to bring the PIL under Rule 56 and 57 of the Rules of High Court at Calcutta Relating to Applications under Article of The Constitution of India are absent.

5. For the reasons stated in the case of Pardarshita & Anr.(supra) this petition is dismissed on the ground of locus standi.
