The matter was taken up yesterday (16.11.2023) when the learned counsel for the High Court Administration had placed an order dated October 7, 2023, issued by the Registrar General.

It appears that the Hon'ble Chief Justice vide order dated October 4, 2023, approved the recommendation of the Committee to allow the level 19 Pay Scale (95,100/- -1,48,000/-) to the petitioner for the period between October 4, 2019 till December 31, 2022.

The main prayer of the petitioner, therefore, has been allowed by the High Court Administration.

It is ordered that all arrears payable to the petitioner shall be released to him within a period of one month from date.

All consequential benefits, that may be quantifiable in money may also be released to the petitioner within the same period.

Let a revised PPO be issued by the concerned authority of the State based on the aforesaid pay scale at level 19, treating the same as a last drawn pay of the petitioner.

7.

All consequential benefits in terms of the aforesaid pay scale shall also be allowed in the revised PPO and released to the petitioner by the State expeditiously.

8.

The arrears of pension shall also be payable to the petitioner as per the revised PPO, within a period of one month from date.

9.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

10.

There shall be no order as to costs.

11.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
