The petitioner approached this Court as the police authorities were trying to rope him in connection with English Bazar Police Station Case No. 811 of 2024 which was registered under Sections 399/402 of the Indian Penal Code. The State has submitted a report which reflects that on conclusion of the investigation of the same case, charge sheet was submitted on or about 13th July, 2024.

Having considered that charge sheet has already been submitted and the petitioner's grievance is for false implication, I am of the view that since the charge sheet has been submitted the petitioner would at the appropriate stage canvass all the issues which according to the petitioner relates to breach of any law or supports the case of the petitioner to prove his innocence.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA No. 20270 of 2024 stands disposed of.

Needless to say that since no affidavits have been called for, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to be admitted by the respondents.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the records.

Parties shall act on the basis of server copy of this order duly downloaded from the website of this Hon'ble Court. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
