Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that no steps have been taken by the police authorities in spite of cognizable offence being made out and petitioner suffering financially because of the deception and/or fraudulent acts of the private respondents.

State has submitted a report which reflects that Barasat PS case no. 430/25 dated 21.08.2025 has been registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of law.

Learned advocate for the respondent nos. 7, 8 and 9 on the other hand submit that they are being threatened.

Be that as it may, the investigation has commenced on 21.08.2025, only four days have passed in

the meantime. Let the investigation of the case proceed. Petitioner would after the statutory period apply before the learned Magistrate for the progress of the investigation. Learned Magistrate would pass necessary directions, informing the de-facto complainant regarding the steps taken by the police authorities for unearthing the truth in respect of the accusations made by the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 19335 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
