Apparently the dispute may look like one between family members. Actually there is an influential property developer who is behind this. The petitioner was thrust upon with two false cases and put into jail in respect of the same. The person who had written the complaint in both the cases appear to be the same. The petitioner has made a representation in this regard to the respondent police authorities which have not been considered yet. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the report, which is taken on record and submits as follows. Two separate cases being Gobardanga Police Station Case No.

61 of 2022 dated 09.03.2022 and Gobardanga Police Station Case No. 156 of 2022 dated 02.06.2022 were initiated against the present petitioner. In one case it was alleged that the petitioner had beaten up his own mother.

I have heard the submissions of the learned counsels for the parties and have perused the writ petition and the report filed by the State.

It appears that charge-sheet has been submitted in both the cases started against the present petitioner. I find no reason to interfere with any of the proceedings because regular criminal Courts are in seisin of the matters.

The petitioner has also not able to make out a clear connection between actions of one purported developer with these two cases.

Accordingly I find no reason to direct the respondent authorities to consider his representation either. Let the respondent authorities keep a watch at the locale and maintain peace.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of without any order as to costs.
