Mr. Tanmoy Basu Mr. Debdip Mondal ..... for the petitioners Ms. Manali Ali ....for the State After hearing learned counsel appearing for the parties and considering the issue in the writ petition which is essentially representation made by the petitioners on 21st March, 2022 to the Assistant Engineer, Kakdwip Highway Sub-Division, PWD of the Government of West Bengal, WPA 19796 of 2022 is disposed of with the direction on the Highway authority or the Officer authorized by the authority under Section 10(1) of the West Bengal Highways Act, and direct the said authority to follow the steps under Sections 10(2) and (3) including issue of necessary notices within a period of eight weeks from the communication of this order. The designated authority under the Act shall also make an inspection of the alleged obstruction of the petitioner's premises as apparent from the records before the Court. The authority shall be at liberty of calling for further documents in this regard. (Moushumi Bhattacharya, J.)
