Petitioner is in custody for more than four years. He submits there is inordinate delay in the trial of the case. Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits report.

We have considered the materials on record. There are materials connecting the petitioner in the murder. Delay is due to abscondence of co-accused Viki Prasad. Bail prayer of the petitioner was also rejected earlier.

In view of the aforesaid circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
