The petitioner sought transfer on medical ground of her spouse. The application reached the West Bengal Central School Service Commission on August 31, 2021. Thereafter, the same did not proceed further. The husband of the petitioner breathed his last on June 11, 2025. The petitioner still presses her application seeking transfer. 2.

The Court is of the opinion that it will be open for the petitioner to file fresh application seeking transfer disclosing the ground for the same. The application may be made offline.

The Head of the Institution shall consider the said application in accordance with law and take necessary steps at the earliest, but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of filing of the application.

If the prayer of the petitioner is allowed, then necessary consequential steps shall be taken by the school.

5.

The death certificate of the husband of the petitioner handed over in Court today be retained with the records.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

7.

Parties to act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
