Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that he intends to plaster the boundary wall and to that effect, he has communicated to the police authorities as the same is being resisted by the private respondents.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that a long standing land dispute is existing between the petitioner and the adjacent land owners.

Be that as it may, police authorities have already drawn up proceedings under Section 126 of the BNSS to maintain peace and tranquility. So far as the issues relating to construction, repair and similar other activities are concerned, police authorities are not supposed to interfere in such type of activities. Police authorities would only restrict themselves in case there is a dispute and violation of law and order.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 19508 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
