Mr. Asraf Mondal Md. Bani Israil ...for the petitioner Mr. B. K. Panda Mr. Atulya Sinha ....for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. There was a free fight between two groups of neighbours. Injuries were suffered on both sides. There are case and counter case. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State strongly opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner. He submits that the petitioner was the prime culprit who assaulted three victims with a metallic rod causing serious injuries on different parts of the body including head.

Considering the incriminating materials available in the case diary inducing the statements of witnesses and the injury reports, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
