Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the manner in which he was dealt with pursuant to the orders passed by this Hon'ble Court in separate writ petitions and their respective appeal. The petitioner has disputed regarding his Shebaitship with certain relations who have been very recently authorised by the administration which is the subject-matter of dispute. The petitioner claims that he was harassed in the office of a government official and to that effect he has made representation dated 01.07.2024 to different officers including the Superintendent of Police, Jhargram and the SDPO, Jhargram which were sent by registered post.

Having considered the prayers so advanced in the writ petition, I direct the Superintendent of Police, Jhargram will depute a superior officer of police who would enquire and arrive at his finding relating to the relevancy, truthfulness or falsity in the contentions made in the complaint dated 01.07.2024 which has been addressed to his office. If after enquiry, the Superintendent of Police, Jhargram is of the opinion that any steps are to be taken against the delinquent, it would be at the liberty of the Superintendent of Police, Jhargram to take appropriate steps in accordance with law. As no affidavit has been called for and the writ petition has been decided on the averments made in the writ petition and the report so submitted on behalf of the State, none of the allegations made against any of the authorities or the private respondents are deemed to be accepted or disputed.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 20128 of 2024 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
