This is an application for family pension by one unmarried daughter of a school teacher who expired on 04.11.1973. After the expiry of the said teacher, the wife of the teacher was getting the family pension. The petitioner is the daughter of the said teacher and his wife who was getting family pension. The petitioner's mother, who was enjoying the family pension, expired on 11.12.2021. For last nearly two years the petitioner is not getting the family pension. In page 13 at Annexure P-3 of the writ application the petitioner has enclosed one legal heir certificate issued from the office of the District Magistrate, Purulia wherefrom it appears that the petitioner's age was 65 years in 2023 (this writ

application was also filed in 2023) and she is an unmarried daughter.

Therefore, I direct the District Inspector of Schools, Purulia after discussing with the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance to take immediate steps so that the family pension can be given to the petitioner by two months from date.

Though the State is not appearing, learned advocates for the Chairman, Purulia DPSC are appearing.

Both the petitioner and also the learned advocate for the Chairman, Purulia DPSC are directed to communicate this order to the District Inspector of Schools, Purulia immediately.

With the above observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of.
