C.R.R. 3682 of 2025 In the matter of: Prem Ratan Sadani (HUF) ....Petitioner Mr. Avijit Ghoshal ...For the petitioner The revisional application has been filed for expeditious disposal of CS/53860 of 2018 under Sections 138/141 of the Negotiable Instruments Act (in short 'N.I. Act.'). It is submitted on behalf of the learned advocate for the petitioner that the case has been pending since long time. The case was initiated in the year 2018 and cognizance under Section 138/141 of the N.I. Act was taken by the learned Trial Court on August 16, 2018 itself. The accused persons had entered appearance in such case, but had taken adjournments on one or the other grounds resulting inordinate delay in disposal of such case.

In the aforesaid circumstances, it would be appropriate to dispose of the instant revisional application by directing the 6th Metropolitan Magistrate, Calcutta to try and dispose of the CS/ 53860 of 2018 as early as possible without affording any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties. With the aforesaid observations, C.R.R. 3682 of 2025 is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all the formalities. (Md. Shabbar Rashidi, J.)
