Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are not the principal accused. Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention to the injury report of the victim and his statement recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. He contends that the injured is facing problem with regard to poor eye sight due to assault on him. The injury report of the victim suggests that he suffered deep cut injury over the left side of the known and eyes. In the statement recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure which the injured claims that he was assaulted by the petitioners using a hammer. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners therein as transpiring from the materials in the case diary, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected. CRM (A) 4192 of 2022 is dismissed.
