Heard the learned Advocates appearing for the parties. Having considered the materials on record prima facie disclosing involvement of the petitioner in the alleged torture of the victim housewife who committed suicide within six months of marriage, we are of the opinion that in view of the gravity of the offence, this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
