The Commissioner of Police, Howrah has filed a report dated 2nd February, 2023 before this Court. The same is kept with the record.

It appears from the said report that a detailed enquiry was conducted as regards the allegations against Mr. Sanjoy Kundu, Inspector-in-charge, Bally Police Station. The Commissioner has not found the allegations substantiated.

However, without any aspersion on any side, the Inspectors-in-charge, Bally Police Station is requested to be more cordial and understandings with senior citizens in future.

The Inspector-in-charge, Cyber Crime Police Station, Howrah City Police has also filed a report dated 3rd February, 2023.

Let such report be made available to the Counsel for the petitioner.

This Court is satisfied with the steps being taken by the Cyber Crime Police Station to look into the petitioner's complaint.

The Cyber Crime Police Station, Howrah City Police shall continue to make efforts to recover the lost money and file final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate within a period of two months from date. With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
