1. Order dated 08.04.2024 directing payment of maintenance arrears of Rs.1,54,000/- for the period from 07.05.2022 to 06.07.2023 is under challenge.

2. Learned lawyer for petitioner contends his client is unable to pay the arrear.

3. I have considered the materials on record. Petitioner is a railway employee. Direction was given to pay interim maintenance at the rate of Rs.11,000/- per month which the petitioner has failed or neglected to do. Accordingly, execution proceeding was initiated and order was passed. Revisional court gave liberty to the petitioner to pay Rs.50,000/- as an ad hoc measure. Petitioner did not comply with that direction. Thereafter, impugned order directing payment of Rs.1,54,000/- came to be passed.

4. Under such circumstances, we do not find any irregularity or illegality in the order.

5. Accordingly, CRR 3365 of 2024 is dismissed. (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
