The matter relates to the premises no. T-210/6, Mitha Talab Lane, Kolkata-700 018 under Borough-XV of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation.

The petitioner seeks implementation of the order of demolition passed by the Special Officer (Building). Appeal preferred against the order passed by the Special Officer (Building) stood dismissed.

From the instruction received from the Executive Engineer(C)/Building signed on September 26, 2023 it appears that notice under Sections 544 and 546 of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation Act, 1980 is being served upon the persons responsible and the demolition has been scheduled on November 2, 2023.

The Executive Engineer(C)/Building is directed to take all necessary steps for implementing the order of demolition.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
