Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is the de facto complainant in this case. He lodged the F.I.R. under Sections 323, 341, 506 of the Indian Penal Code on 22.11.2011. Since then the matter is pending. A charge sheet was submitted in February 2012. Thereafter, even charges could not be framed till date. The proceeding has remained pending for no fault on the part of the present petitioner.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that the State would not come in the way if a direction is passed for an expeditious disposal of the proceeding because the matter is pending nearly eleven years.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the opposite party no. 2 submits that delay was quite systemic in this case.

I have heard the submissions of the learned counsels appearing for the petitioner, State and the opposite party no. 2 and have perused the revision petition.

It appears that some delay has been occasioned in concluding the proceeding, especially considering the fact that the F.I.R was lodged way back in 2011.

In view of the above and in the interest of justice, the learned Trial Court is requested to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties and in particular to decide the question of framing of charges at the earliest, preferably within three months from the next date of hearing.

With these observations, the revisional application is disposed of.
