Criminal Revisional Jurisdiction 30-01-2024 Subha Item no. 82 Ct no.34 CRR 3026 of 2023 Ashim Dhar -versus- State of West Bengal and Ors.

The revisional application was earlier called on 22nd August, 2023 when none represented the petitioner and the same was fixed in the month of January, 2024. Today, when the revisional application has been called, none represented the petitioner. I find from the records that the subject matter of challenge is the order dated 10-04-2023 passed by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 16th court, Calcutta in complaint case no. C742 of 2020. Record reflects that the learned Metropolitan Magistrate fixed 12th June, 2023 for evidence before charge, for proceeding with the trial of the case. As the evidence is to commence, I am not inclined to interfere with the order dated 10th April, 2023 as the present stage of the complaint case no. C742 of 2010 has not been placed before this court. Accordingly, the revisional application being CRR 3026 of 2023 is dismissed.
