1. Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

2. Considering the statement of the injured and other eye witnesses corroborating the statement of the petitioner and it directly implicates, amongst others, the present petitioner for the physical assault by iron rod on the head of the victim and the injury report shows grievous hurt and the fact that the petitioner had suffered multiple cut injuries over scalp, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

3. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.
