The petitioner alleges that the caste reservation certificate relied upon by the private respondent for participating in a bidding process at the instance of the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is a fake one. A complaint by the petitioner was lodged before the Sub-Divisional Officer. The instant writ petition has been filed alleging inaction on the part of the Sub-Divisional Officer to dispose of the complaint of the petitioner.

None represents the State, despite notice. Affidavit of service is on record.

Learned counsel for the private respondent produces a copy of the caste certificate and submits that the same is a genuine one.

Learned counsel for IOCL relies upon a communication made by the Sub-Divisional Officer wherefrom it appears that the certificate relied upon by the private respondent has been found to be in order.

From the submissions made by the parties, the allegation of the petitioner regarding fake certificate by the private respondent could not be substantiated.

In view of the above, the grievance of the petitioner does not appear to be proper. Accordingly, the writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed.
